For founders with an AI-built product.
Customers pay for an app you built with Lovable, Bolt or Replit, and every change breaks something else. We make it safe to grow, then build the roadmap it unblocks.
What we hear.
- “Every time we add something, it breaks something else.”Features take longer each month, and nobody can explain why.
- “A big prospect sent a security questionnaire.”The biggest deal of the year is stuck on questions about access control and data handling.
- “I’m nervous about letting more customers on.”Research in 2026 keeps finding serious security gaps in AI-built apps, and you don’t know if yours has them.
- “Due diligence will find the mess.”You’d rather fix it now than explain it to investors later.
- “An agency wants to rebuild it from scratch.”You don’t want to bin something customers already pay for.
How a fractional team helps.
Senior people on every change
A senior developer designs, reviews and tests everything before it reaches you. Nothing ships because a tool produced it.
Security and stability first
The work that unblocks the questionnaire goes to the top of the queue, so the answers are real.
Keep what works
A free queue review decides what to keep, what to fix and what the first month would ship, before you pay anything.
A CTO you don’t have yet
On Embedded Plus, a half-day CTO and planning session every month. Then the roadmap the stabilising unblocks.
We’d usually recommend Embedded Plus: with no CTO in the business, the monthly planning time is half the value. One-off fix only? See Prototype Rescue.
“Add a page where agents can see all their properties.”
Fixed who can see what first, then built the page: agents see their own branch, managers see across branches.
- Spotted. Any logged-in user could read every agent’s data. Locked that down before adding anything.
- Asked why. Branch managers need a cross-branch view, so we added a manager role for it.
- Ready for the questionnaire. Access rules written down as we went, so the security answers are real.
Relevant work.
iMaintainiMaintain: from a founder’s idea to an AI maintenance platform
iMaintain’s founders knew maintenance inside out but weren’t developers. We acted as their product team: discovery first, a two-week proof of concept, then a production MVP built sprint by sprint alongside them.
Discovery to MVP in six months
Fast Jet PerformanceCheckflight: a pilot’s procedure cards, rebuilt for the cockpit
A pilot had designed cards that make flight procedures easier to learn. We turned them into an app that works for revision at home and a quick glance mid-flight, testing every step with pilots.
One codebase, three platforms
HeadXHeadX: monitoring head impacts in youth sport, from headband to report
HeadX needed accurate, real-time head impact data on the touchline and proper analysis afterwards. We built the whole chain: headband firmware, a pitch-side app and a web app for review.
Firmware, mobile and web
Questions we hear.
Why should we trust you over someone running Claude internally?
AI tools write code. Turning code into a product people can use takes UX experience, product strategy and production know-how, which is what we bring, and we answer for every release.
Is AI writing our code? Is that safe?
We use the latest AI tools because they make us faster, but a senior developer designs, reviews and tests everything before it reaches you. Nothing ships just because a tool produced it.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we build lives in your repositories and belongs to you.
