Visitor attractions.
Apps, quests, booking journeys and visitor experiences. We build our own product for attractions, so we know what works on a busy bank holiday.
What we hear.
- Busy holidays, quiet weeks.Visitors flood in during school holidays and drop away the rest of the year.
- Digital that feels like an afterthought.Booking flows, maps and apps that frustrate visitors before they arrive.
- No developer on staff.Every change means finding someone, briefing them and hoping it’s done before the season.
How a fractional team helps.
We run our own attraction product
Huntly quests are used at Fairwood Lakes, Farmer Palmer’s, Mendip and other sites. We know how visitors use their phones on site.
Experience first
UX is where attractions win or lose online. We design for the family with a buggy and one bar of signal.
Ready for the season
A queue means improvements land steadily through the year, not in a panic before Easter.
Looking for a family quest at your site? Visit huntly.app. For apps, booking journeys and ongoing digital work, the subscription is the simplest route.

HuntlyHuntly: the product we build and run ourselves
Huntly is our own app for family quests at attractions. Fairwood Lakes, Farmer Palmer’s and Mendip use custom quests to get families exploring, spread visitors around the site and support fundraising.
Our own live product
EnginuityEnspire City: making engineering careers playable for children
Enginuity wanted children excited about engineering and manufacturing. We built an animated, gamified city with accessibility designed in from the start, shaped by feedback sprint after sprint.
Accessible by design
HeadXHeadX: monitoring head impacts in youth sport, from headband to report
HeadX needed accurate, real-time head impact data on the touchline and proper analysis afterwards. We built the whole chain: headband firmware, a pitch-side app and a web app for review.
Firmware, mobile and web
We have no problem during school holidays but we were looking for something to encourage more visitors all year round. The Huntly app allows our visitors to do a quest at any time of year. It enhances the visit, gives them a reason to stay longer and encourages them to spend more.
Questions we hear.
Can you work on our existing software?
Yes, and most clients start that way. We review the codebase early so we understand it before we change anything.
What if we have something big, like a whole new product?
We break it into a run of smaller releases so you see progress every week. If it needs more thinking first, we suggest a planning day or a short discovery sprint.
What’s not included?
Third-party costs like hosting, app store fees and licences, paid directly by you so you own those accounts. Extra CTO days beyond your plan are charged at the day rate.
