Discovery Sprint.

For new products, big changes and big unknowns. Work out what’s worth building, and how, before spending money building it.

Clarity before code.

AI tools have made building fast. They haven’t made deciding what to build any easier. A Discovery Sprint is short, focused time with senior people to answer the questions that decide whether a product succeeds.

What you come away with

It depends on the question, but typically:

  • A clear statement of the problem and who it’s for, tested against the people who’ll use it.
  • The use cases that matter most, and the ones to leave out.
  • A technical direction: architecture, data, integrations and the risky parts.
  • A plan for the first releases, ready to drop into a queue or a fixed-scope build.

For iMaintain, a few days of discovery produced an AI use case document, a data blueprint and a technical architecture plan, followed by a working proof of concept two weeks later. Read the case study.

When it makes sense.

A new product

You have an idea and a budget, but no product yet. Discovery tells you what the first version should be.

A big change to an existing one

Something large is coming, like a new module, a platform move or AI built into a core workflow. Discovery de-risks it before the queue starts.

A decision you need to defend

A board, a funder or a grant application needs a credible plan. Discovery gives you one, written by the people who’d build it.

How it’s priced.

Every Discovery Sprint is scoped and priced on a short call, once we understand the question. Afterwards you can take the plan anywhere, build it with us as a fixed-scope project, or move straight onto the subscription.

Start in January.

Book a 20-minute call, or send us your backlog for a free queue review. End-of-year pricing if you sign by 12 December.
