Fluff Software
Turning software into magic, transforming moments into memories.
EAL, a leader in awarding qualifications for engineering and manufacturing industries, needed a complete overhaul of their marketing website. Their previous platform was outdated, difficult to maintain, and no longer aligned with their evolving brand or growth ambitions. Recognizing the importance of a modern, user-friendly platform, EAL selected Fluff Software to design and develop their new marketing site. The goal was to create a scalable, easy-to-update website that would clearly showcase the impactful work EAL does in shaping the future of industry skills and education.
EAL’s existing website had been built on an aging platform that no longer met the organization’s needs. Content updates were cumbersome, the design was outdated, and it lacked the functionality required to support their growth. EAL needed a fresh, modern website that not only reflected their brand but also allowed their internal team to easily manage and update content.
A key priority for the new site was to ensure that it effectively showcased EAL’s extensive work in qualifications, training, and support for industries. It needed to be visually appealing, user-friendly, and built on a foundation that could support future updates and growth initiatives without requiring significant technical intervention.
The Approach
Fluff Software approached this project with a focus on creating a solution that was both scalable and easy to manage. We worked closely with EAL’s team to understand their vision, identifying their key goals and priorities for the new website. Our process began with a comprehensive discovery phase, where we mapped out the user journey, ensuring the site would provide an intuitive and seamless experience for both end-users and the EAL marketing team.
Designing for ease of use was crucial. We needed to ensure that EAL’s marketing team could quickly and efficiently make updates to the site, whether adding new qualifications, industry insights, or showcasing their partnerships and achievements. We selected a content management system (CMS) that would give them full control over their content while minimising technical complexity.
The design phase was focused on ensuring the new site would align with EAL’s refreshed brand identity while also being easy to navigate. We created a modern, clean design that emphasized EAL’s role as a leader in qualifications and industry training. The layout was structured to highlight their key offerings—qualifications, case studies, and resources—allowing users to quickly find the information they needed.
The development phase involved building a fully responsive website, ensuring it would perform flawlessly across all devices, from desktops to smartphones. We used a robust CMS that empowered EAL’s team to manage the site content independently. The platform was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing EAL to scale the site as needed to accommodate new content, features, and updates.
A core requirement of the project was making the site easy to update, so the EAL team could regularly add new content without relying on external developers. To achieve this, we provided training sessions to ensure their team was comfortable using the CMS, demonstrating how they could add new qualifications, update news sections, and maintain the site’s visual consistency.
In addition to building a user-friendly backend, we ensured the site was optimized for future growth. The flexible, modular architecture we implemented allows EAL to add new sections, integrate additional features, and expand their digital presence without requiring significant redevelopment.
The redesign and development of EAL’s marketing site is a testament to Fluff Software’s ability to deliver user-friendly, scalable solutions that align with an organization’s long-term vision. By creating a platform that is easy to update and built for growth, we’ve helped EAL maintain their leadership in industry qualifications while positioning them for future success.
