Full Stack Software Developer - Contractor

The Role: 

Fluff Software is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. This is a full-time contractor role, in which you will be working remotely.

Salary: ₱70,000 per month
Location: Fully Remote (Philippines-based)
Hours: Full-time, with required overlap during UK working hours (9am–5pm UK time)

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Developer to work alongside our growing team. This role will be fully remote.

Job Summary: 

As a Senior Developer at Fluff Software, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web and mobile applications using modern technologies. You will work closely with our small cross-functional team to build digital products for our clients using modern approaches. Your expertise in React, NextJS, Node.JS, and databases like MongoDB, and delivering applications through cloud-based architecture using platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure will be crucial in delivering scalable and efficient solutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring other developers, helping to shape requirements for client projects, and contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, NextJS, Node.JS, and databases like MongoDB.
• Also helping to deliver all or part of the stack when building cross platform mobile applications, using React Native, Firebase/Supabase, and AWS.
• Helping to design and implement scalable cloud-based architecture.
• Mentor and support other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks as needed.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, best practices, and efficient performance.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment, delivering projects on time and meeting project goals.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with modern web technologies such as React and NextJS.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to work as a full-stack developer.
• Familiarity with building cloud-based architecture using Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS.
• Solid experience in Node.JS, .NET, Python, or similar for server-side development.
• Working knowledge of databases, such as MongoDB.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
• Preferred experience in React Native, but not essential.

We are a growing agency, delivering on big projects for our clients. To achieve this, we work closely as a team and lean on remote tools such as Gather, Google Meet, and ClickUp to help us communicate and collaborate.

We aim to deliver projects in an agile manner as much as possible and utilise practices such as daily stand ups and ad-hoc meetings to keep in touch with each other.
