# EVOLUTION: one platform that works for students, assessors and organisers

TG Consulting was stuck on off-the-shelf assessment platforms that fitted nobody. We designed for each group separately, then brought them together in one platform.

Built for three very different users

## The situation

Assessment centres put students under pressure, assessors on the clock and organisers in charge of a complicated day. The third-party platforms TG Consulting had been using were clunky, hard to use and too rigid for its own process, so all three groups were working around the software.

## What we questioned first

- **What does each person need on the day?** Students need calm and focus. Assessors need to move between tasks, score and take notes quickly. Administrators need scheduling, attendance and results in one place. So we designed each experience separately.
- **How do assessors stay consistent?** Real-time collaboration, so assessors can share observations as they happen and evaluate fairly.
- **Where will it be used?** On whatever device is to hand at a busy event, so the whole platform is fully responsive.

## What we built

A custom web application with a low-stress student interface, fast scoring and note-taking for assessors, a full admin dashboard for scheduling, attendance and results, and security measures to protect student data.

## What changed

EVOLUTION changed how TG Consulting runs its in-person assessment centres, and feedback from all three user groups has been strongly positive.
