We're building Swindon Software as a community for anyone based in and around the Swindon/Wiltshire area, who is interested in software development. From those who work professionally as a software developer to hobby coders, or those just thinking about getting started - all skill levels are very welcome.
We host a meetup-style event that takes place every other month. At these events we have usually have 2 guest speakers who give a half hour talk about something software related in their respective fields.
There is such a depth of software and technical talent in Swindon & Wiltshire. From those who live in the town, and commute to other areas, to those who are working for the large variety of companies based here, we've got a strong pool of people. I wanted to bring these people (including myself!) together and form a new community around what we're doing. A place to share ideas, learn from each other, and be a leading group in the field of software development.

We are aiming for one meetup every 2 months. We can't give a guaranteed a date until close to the event to avoid people signing up and not attending.
